ABOUT
Platonica is a supper and salon series
for friendships that deserve their own lore.

Across a candlelit, multi-course dinner, pairs of friends are guided through a series of prompts drawn from romantic tropes—rewritten for friendship and shared at the table.

The evening unfolds in three acts:
the origin story, the friendship, and the imagined future.
Part dinner, part inquiry, part quiet witnessing, this is a space to slow down and pay attention to a friendship that matters.

The evening is gently guided through a series of prompts, woven between courses. You’ll move through moments of reflection, conversation, and shared attention—at your own pace, with the person you came with.

The dinner unfolds in three acts:
The origin story — how it began•
The friendship — what sustains it
The future — what comes next

Each act is introduced with a prompt or invitation, designed to open up conversation without forcing it.

There’s no right way to do this.

You might:• share stories• answer a question brought up via prompt cards• sit with something quietly• listen more than you speak.

Everything is invitation-based.

Platonica is designed as a space of care and attention.

We ask that you:• stay present with your guest• respect the privacy of others• share with intention

Platonica is also an ongoing research and archival project on platonic intimacy.

With consent, small fragments from each dinner—phrases, reflections, or moments may be gathered and carried forward into a growing archive. These will always be shared anonymously, and participation is entirely optional.

Over time, this archive will form a collective record of how we remember, sustain, and imagine our friendships.
